Este domingo se llevó a cabo la ceremonia de los Billboard Music Awards desde el Microsoft Theater de Los Angeles, con Nick Jonas como host, donde hubo 15 presentaciones en vivo.
Los Premios Billboard están basados en ventas digitales, de álbumes, reproducciones de radio y streaming como así también el social media. Este año se entregaron 51 categorías, y The Weeknd fue el más premiado de esta edición.
Entre los premios especiales, Pink recibió el Icon Award de la mano de Bon Jovi , mientras que Drake fue honrado como el artista de la década con el. Por otro lado Bad Bunny resulto ganador de tres premios incluyendo “Top Latin Artist”, premio que agradeció a sus fans del mundo y a su gente latina.
Además Karol G recibió el premio Top Latin Female y Eslabón Armado al mejor dúo/ grupo latino.
La velada contó con varias performances cómo la de AJR, Alicia Keys, Bad Bunny, BTS, Duran Duran, Karol G, Pink y The Weeknd entre otros. El cierre estuvo a cargo de los Jonas Brothers.
